Gertrude is a seasoned consultant you want on your side. With over 20 years of experience in real estate sales and investing, she has amassed valuable knowledge from our most active and challenging Bay Area real estate market.  Gertrude has helped numerous clients to purchase, sell, and upgrade their homes, some of whom have worked with her for 10 to 20 years.  Their loyalty affirms their trust in her expertise.

Her keen sense for style and design is instrumental in elevating her listings' attributes making them most appealing to buyers.  She keeps herself abreast of market trends and developments so she's able to guide and advise her clients wisely and effectively.  She actively drives her listings' design improvements and staging based on understanding the target buyer's lifestyle.

She bought her first investment property at 27 and a second one only three years later. She has built her investment portfolio since and manages them herself. She has successfully tripled the value of her real estate holdings by restructuring tenant makeup and making wise property improvements.  Her expertise and business acumen make her an excellent advisor on effective ways to increase property values.  She has assisted client investors with the complex transactions of income properties up to 20 units. She also assists in the successful execution of 1031 tax-deferred exchanges, a challenging feat in California.

When she's not meeting with clients, she dedicates her time to her family of four. She watches her kids play soccer or baseball on the weekends. Her husband is a mountain biker who explores the many trails in Oakland hills while she loves kayaking and finding new experiences. She has gone on a bioluminescent kayak tour in Pt. Reyes and have kayaked all over the Bay Area. She recently tried an origami kayak and she's hooked!

Giving Back

• I'm passionate about fitness and dance so I've organized Zumba workout events that generated thousands to donate to typhoon victims in the Philippines and earthquake victims in Haiti. Unicef doubled the funds we raised!  
• Volunteer in the San Francisco Food Bank
• Have bought needed groceries for an Oakland shelter.
• Donate to Alameda County Food Bank 
• We all continue to face various challenges in this age of pandemic, but no one should ever go hungry.  In 2022, I commit to donating $500 of every transaction to the Alameda County Food Bank.
